Comfort. Care. Security. Just ask Jack and Mary Lois.

When Jack and Mary Lois Thomas moved to their independent living neighborhood at The Farms at Bailey Station retirement community in March 2022, they felt the warm welcome of so many new neighbors. In fact, there’s one welcoming neighbor they’ll never forget—the Jordan River Health Campus. Located right on The Farms campus, Jordan River made all the difference in Jack’s life after he unexpectedly fell ill not long after moving to The Farms. It was through the quality care he received at Jordan River that he was able to return to his independent living neighborhood.

“By choosing to move to The Farms and having a plan in place for the future, not only did we experience firsthand the security of being taken care of, but also the comfort of that care being available literally next door,” says Mary Lois. She added, “It just reinforces our thinking all along—that we don’t want to have our family or kids take care of us—and be a burden to them.”
