Frequently Asked Questions
A LifeCare community is a type of Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) that provides a full continuum of health care services on a single campus so that seniors can age in place. Residents agree to a LifeCare contract, which gives them priority access to higher levels of care as needed and protects them from future increases in healthcare costs.
The cost of senior living at The Farms at Bailey Station varies based on a few factors, including the type of living accommodation, the number of persons, and the individual plan and fee schedule. However, all residents are required to pay a one-time entrance fee and a monthly maintenance fee for their apartment or garden home.
The monthly maintenance fee for residents is subject to change, but as a community managed by Retirement Companies of America, we experience some of the lowest percentages of increases in the country. Here at The Farms, we make every effort to keep monthly fees as low as possible while ensuring that we can respond to the costs of operations and provide quality services for our residences.
A LifeCare community requires residents to pay an upfront entrance fee in addition to an ongoing monthly maintenance fee. Rental retirement communities only require a monthly fee to cover housing and services.
While LifeCare communities are a bigger investment, they provide long-term security and peace of mind for seniors and their families. The entrance fee guarantees you lifetime access to health care services, which means you’ll always be taken care of should your health needs change in the future.
